This ink painting has a bold, vibrant energy with its deep red and pink tones, contrasted by swirling black forms. The rhythmic, heartbeat-like patterns convey heritage in continuity, capturing the flow and transformative energy of ancestral influences, continually shaping and evolving.

My work reimagines the mind and body as a landscape, with emotional terrain shaped by memory, loss, reclamation, and liberation. In the Planes series, I use map elements—such as color, borderlines, and dense, footprint-like marks—to represent internal tensions, suppressed emotions, and collective expressions of movement and joy.
Through these explorations, I ask: How do we harbor chaos within ourselves, and how do we resolve the disruptions it creates?
