To Apprehend Destruction

$875.00

Part III of "My Soul Has Got to Move: After Dancy," this piece mirrors the painful parts of attachment. When we face uncertainty after a transition, it is okay to feel afraid of the unknown.

Inspired by the themes and variations from composer Chanda Dancy's classical work, Cacophony of Spirits: A Cinematic Tone Poem, the four-panel set captures the turbulent journey through loss. Each panel corresponds to one of Dancy's movements and its emotive expression: Joy/Wonder; Fear/Suffering; Rage/Destruction; and Sorrow/Acceptance.
